The desire to make the jobs of both my clients and my co-workers easier and more enjoyable drives me.My goal with each project is to not only deliver it on time, stable, and under budget, but to uncover needs along the way that the client might not initially be aware of. Ideally, the final result should be better than originally expected. I approach my work with a creative mindset, always open to new ways of answering questions and finding solutions. I find that my ability to learn new tools and processes quickly helps me in this. While I work well independently, I’ve also been recognized as being a good relationship builder with my clients and the cross-functional teams I’ve worked with. I’m an effective speaker and writer, and draw from my experiences as a teacher and musician when working with business colleagues. I make it my point to understand my client's business as if it was my own. Similarly, I try to learn as much about technology as I can from my development colleagues. This not only improves my ability to manage a project, but it also helps strengthen the teams I’m involved with by reducing barriers.I have experience with all phases of the SDLC, and am comfortable in working within both Agile and Waterfall environments. I am very effective working remotely, but also enjoy working in an office environment.
