Richard is currently leading the development of mobile and connected experience products at Splunk. Prior to Splunk, Richard was part of the product data operations organization at Facebook where he led teams, managed vendors and partnered closely with engineering to improve products through data. Richard was previously an Engagement Manager at McKinsey. He has served clients in a variety of industries on topics such as growth strategy, M&A, process optimization and technology enablement.Prior to business school, Richard spent several months in Kenya as a Kiva Fellow. Striving to make an impact, he partnered with senior executives at two microfinance institutions where he identified and implemented operational improvements. He also trained dozens of loan officers at branches across Kenya. In the earlier part of his career, Richard helped build products at Expedia. His passion for technology and love for creating products made him a driving force on the Hotels team. He was recognized as a gold star performer, consistently performing above expectations. In addition to his passions for technology and products, Richard cares deeply about developing the people that he works with. Whether they are associates assigned to his team or peers who he has met along the way, Richard finds joy in mentoring them and bringing out the best in them.
