I initially was introduced into the Human Resources world through the Corporate Operations Department of a large national healthcare provider where I served as a Director of Corporate Operations for a firm with over 100,000 employees. As a part of this role, I spent many years managing a national self-funded plan with over 15,000 employees and overseeing the corporate budget. Looking to diversify my experience, I went to work for a non-profit firm where I managed both benefits and compensation, again working as part of the Human Resources team. In 2001, I started a consulting practice that aimed to provide clients with benefits administrative services as well as benefits consulting services in the large, mid and small group markets. Over the years I was able to provide high quality consultative services in both benefits and human resource matters to a variety of clients crossing many industries. With the benefits industry experiencing prospective changes associated with the Affordable Care Act, I helped launch Bluewater Search, a talent management firm specializing primarily in executive level placement services. Bluewater's key differentiator is their methodology which employs advanced behavioral analytics to help our clients better define what characteristics, traits and behaviors will be necessary to thrive in the position. Through this role, I’ve had the luxury of working with many C-level individuals, helping them better define and meet their talent needs. My experience in the human resource, benefits and recruiting sectors has given me a very unique combination of experiences that allows me to better advise and consult clients on how to best utilize and maximize their human capital.
