Based in Moscow, I was the start up manager for Johnson & Johnson professional franchises for the 16 Soviet Union countries. Johnson & Johnson grew to 150 employees when I left in 1996. I was initially employed as Managing Director of The Kendall Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Colgate Palmolive, across six countries in Southern Africa. During this time I organised the MBO of the company when Colgate decided to divest.I then was promoted to Managing Director of the organisation covering Caribbean and South American countries. During this time, I established the organisation's Caribbean operations, through setting up a distribution network across Caribbean and South America, creating trading opportunities and negotiating with the local Governments.I was then invited to become Managing Director of the Australian operation at a time when this company required major restructuring. During my time in Australia:I helped to achieve a company turnaround from a loss of A$ 2 million to a profit of A$1.5 in 2 years.Other achievements during this time included:Leading clinical trialsProduct development researchRegulatory approvals in order to launch and develop new IV solutions in AustraliaMeeting corporate objectives of expanding the manufacture and marketing base. .
