I am a Dallas-based artist, educator, critic, and arts administrator. With a background in the performing arts, I have cultivated my career to revolve around arts equity and empowering long-disenfranchised communities to participate in the arts as contributors to the city's culture. As a performing arts critic in North Texas, I maintain a wholistic, bird's eye view of the region that allows for comprehensive analyses of relevant developments within the arts community, and the identification of gaps in social and cultural initiatives. To that end, I work on behalf of arts organizations with a focus on community relations, engagement, and creative development--all in service of bridging disparate groups and aligning missions. In addition, I continue to develop on my career as a vocal coach, which I have been doing since 2014.While pursuing my creative interests in art and music, I also worked as a freelance writer, journalist, and graphic designer. Professionally, I have worked assignments ranging from copy writing/editing and search engine optimization to digital asset management and design.As a musician, I have over 10 years of experience in recording and producing, both original music and for other artists, sound design, composition, and music education.
