Ryan is currently a Vice President with PNC Mezzanine Capital, a multi-strategy investment firm focused on investing in lower middle-market companies across the U.S.Prior to joining PNC Mezzanine in 2022, Ryan served as a Vice President within Piper Sandler's diversified industrials & services investment banking group. Additionally, Ryan spent several years with BB&T Capital Markets and JP Morgan's investment banking groups, serving companies across a range of industries including specialty distribution, services, manufacturing, and building products. Prior to banking, Ryan worked in the data analytics field - most recently within American Eagle Outfitters’ Marketing Analytics Department, where he was honored as the inaugural recipient of the Applied Predictive Technologies (a MasterCard Company) “User of the Year” award for excellence in analytics.Ryan is currently a director of 4 State, Alinabal, RIE Coatings, and Thaler Machine, and a former director of Industrial Services Group. Ryan also has board oversight responsibilities for an undisclosed investment in the commercial landscaping sector. Over the course of his career, Ryan has been involved with 23 platform transactions across the industrial and services sectors, representing over $4.5 billion in enterprise value.Ryan graduated from the University of Pittsburgh (magna cum laude) with a major in Finance and minors in Applied Statistics and Economics. He received his MBA from Carnegie Mellon University, where he graduated with university honors, finishing in the top 10% of his class.Outside of work, Ryan enjoys staying active, personal investing, debating colleagues on the merits of cryptocurrencies, and being a devoted Lakers fan.
