In 2016-2017, our software team spun out from Western Digital to launch JetStream Software.In my role as a director, I recruited and led a team of marketing professionals, including product managers, marketing managers, and communications specialists. I also coordinated the efforts of the enterprise software marketing team with the larger corporate marketing team, including marketing communications, press and analyst relations, events, marketing, legal, procurement, etc. In my role as an individual contributor, I presented at various industry events, briefed analysts and technology journalists, and authored numerous marketing materials, case studies and white papers. I launched and administered the company's enterprise technology blog, and I posted (and ghost-wrote and edited) a great number of articles. I also managed the day-to-day logistics of SanDisk's OEM relationship with Dell for the SanDisk DAS Cache software, which was sold as an option for Dell PowerEdge servers.
