The syllabi for these courses are designed and delivered using the Learning centered philosophy where students are active participants in their learning. Hence there is a blended learning approach for both courses, with Blackboard and Cengage LMS along with other multimedia and instructional technology used to enhance pedagogy. Courses: Integrated Business Applications (Fall 2018, Winter 2019, Spring 2019, Summer I and II)  The delivery of this course is grounded in the constructivist theory and Blooms Taxonomy and uses Engaged/Active learning strategies. It utilizes the project based approach with an emphasis on collaboration which mirrors real world experiences  This course examines the concepts and integration features of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint in a Windows environment. Students learn how to use applications more efficiently by integrating them to streamline their work. Electronic Spreadsheets (Fall 2018, Winter 2019, Spring 2019, Summer I and II)  The delivery of this course is grounded in the constructivist theory and Blooms Taxonomy and uses Engaged/Active learning strategies. It utilizes the project based approach with an emphasis on collaboration which mirrors real world experiences  Students gain detailed knowledge of various electronic spreadsheet technologies that will allow them to perform analysis and organization of a variety of business, personal and organizational tasks. Served as a Program Specialist for the Medgar Evers College Presidential Pipeline Initiative with responsibility for the Brooklyn Pipeline’s Dual Credit Program (BPDC). The Pipeline Program creates pathways to college for students from K-12. The dual credit component is a collaboration between Medgar Evers College, the NYC DOE and approximately 40 High Schools in Brooklyn, to provide credit bearing college courses to High School students. My role involves strengthening partnerships and building relationships with the Pipeline Program’s administrators, principals, teachers, students and community. One of my core responsibilities is to explore how the Pipeline Program can initiate college readiness from the early childhood level.
