I had the privilege of founding The Network Factory in 2001, a testament to my vision and commitment to the systems engineering space. The company's technology was fully integrated into the AxisOps portfolio by the end of 2021. My role encompassed both strategic and hands-on responsibilities, with key areas of involvement as follows:System Design & Implementation: At the forefront of devising and deploying large-scale compliant and secure systems, I leveraged both Linux and Windows platforms, with Kubernetes for orchestration and Docker for containerisation.DevOps & Cloud Technologies: My toolkit included an array of DevOps tools, notably the HashiCorp suite and Rancher. I frequently orchestrated deployments on cloud platforms like AWS (using services such as VPC, EC2, S3, EBS, and ELB) and Azure (with Virtual Networks, VMs, Storage, and Traffic Manager). In 2007, a staggering £5 billion of lending was managed through the company's SaaS platform.I oversaw all facets of the technical operation, reporting directly to the Managing Director for daily operations and liaising with the CEO on strategic long-term projects.

Joined this tech start-up to capitalise on the burgeoning growth in online digital imaging and video.YouView offered a SaaS solution designed to assist local authorities, police, and newspaper groups in receiving and managing digital content sent directly from mobile phones.• Played a pivotal role in crafting the tech strategy and stack.• Led the development of the platform's second implementation.• Spearheaded the comprehensive redesign of the network infrastructure.

I co-founded this tech start-up in 1998, building a company centred on the webcasting software and hardware solution I had prototyped.
