I was the project captain in charge of delivering top-quality analyses and recommendations for C-level and board-level audiences at large public companies, as well as high-precision execution on time-sensitive M&A processes.As the Vice President on the team, I was the thought leader in charge of assessing our clients' competitive positioning, relative performance, and aims, intending to provide tailored strategic recommendations, whether or not M&A was part of that strategic mix. These analyses were qualitative and qualitative in nature, including merger/split-off/spin-off models, LBO models, industry landscaping analysis, strategic fit analysis, macroeconomic overview analysis, vulnerability analysis, and any other ad hoc body of work that was appropriate for our clients' situation. I led the analysis of M&A, financing, and activist defense projects for large publicly-traded industrial companies on a global basis. The project I'm most proud of was building an exceptionally complex financial model for Pulkovo Airport (St. Petersburg, Russia), which:- had over 150 operating scenarios- had 10 financing scenarios- contained 3 currencies- was presented in 2 currencies- was projected on a real/nominal basis- spanned a 40 year projection period- included VBA macros to optimize its utilityThis project is an example of how I love to roll up my sleeves and deliver a high-quality product with laser-focused attention to detail.

The International Derivatives Clearing Group (IDCG) was a CFTC-regulated organization for clearing of interest rate derivatives that was founded in 2008 by the former Chairman of the NYMEX, Vincent Viola and John Shay. IDCG was acquired by LCH Clearnet in August 2012 and subsequently renamed to LCH.Clearnet LLC.As the 6th and most junior employee at the time I was hired, I had my hands on all aspects of IDCG's platform and became an expert in our software infrastructure. I took the initiative to develop a solution to facilitate the clearing platform's transition from a futures clearinghouse to an OTC derivatives clearinghouse - this technological change allowed over a +1,000,000x increase in product flexibility that could be handled by our trading/clearing system. This enhancement was a key area of interest during LCH.Clearnet's acquisition process.As the special projects lead for platform change, I worked for the CEO/CRO/CTO/Head of Operations/Treasurer on all new initiatives across Risk, Product, Technology, Operations, and Treasury.
