Product is at the core of everything Richard does and has done over his 30 year career.Come from an extensive background (25 + years) in Fabric Manufacturing, Textile Engineering, Product Development and Research and Development for knitted fabrics. Before starting Tek Textil, was the Global Director of Research and Development for the largest knit fabric manufacturer in the world, supplying apparel, home furnishings, industrial and automotive fabrics for their respective industries. In 2002, started a consulting business geared towards helping textile manufacturers in North and South America develop processes and products to be produced to international standards enabling them to supply to the more critical international customers. Having spent much time in Mexico, developing an array of contacts there, Combined those manufacturing contacts with the client/brand contacts over the years and started Tek Textil. Tek Textil comprised of a Research and Development and technical sales team all of which had extensive engineering and sales backgrounds in textiles and textile chemistry. Using a hands-on and technical sales approach, Tek Textil were developers and suppliers of fabrics to major International performance apparel brands along with their mill partners in MexicoThe team consisted of textile engineers, all with strengths in different areas of textile expertise. In 2016 Tek Textil split up and Richard partnered with one of Tek Textil's mill partners. That partner is Arttex.
