For those of you trying to get hold of me, let me apologize! Sorry about being so tardy about getting back! I could make up a lame excuse, I guess, but I just got distracted by life the last few years … got 2 years in as a Public Information Officer with Caltrans' district office in south Stockton - great commute, 40 minutes door to door, and I see more cows than cars … Learning lots of fun stuff about construction, paving roads, building bridges and the like. Yeah, there were things we definitely need to improve on, but we got some pretty cool things going on, too … We've got Black Hat Football (BlackHatFootball.com) heading toward its fourth season as the Voice of The 209 - and closing in on 4,800 Twitter followers. Best about that: Not one of those followers was 'purchased' and they're overwhelmingly local :) … Got some great sponsors with Taco Bell, Starbucks, Yogurt Mill and the like. I've picked up some great business advice from them, and it's made us much better at marketing.
