At this EMC distributor, my role centred on providing pre and post sales support and delivery for the full range of EMC hardware and software products.Working closely with a variety of EMC Resellers to support their activities with all EMC products, including VMware.Subject matter expert on EMC Clariion Storage.Capturing and articulating technical requirements to design innovative solutions to meet customer and/or reseller requirements.Developing complete technical plans, identifying and managing areas of technical risk.Installation and configuration of EMC Clariion, Celerra, VMware and Networker implementations.Responsible for technical documentation and knowledge handover.Preparing and delivering training courses, workshops and presentations.Significant accomplishments whilst at Magirus included being the first EMEA distributor to achieve the authority to install EMC products and my participation in the successful delivery of a virtualisation migration project for a large police force.
