I am passionate about helping people & organisations achieve their vision, fulfil their purpose and realise their personal aspirations.With extensive experience in leading strategic business change, the start point is often to ‘lift the lid’ and undertake a full strategic review of an organisation, setting a clear vision and roadmap to guide future growth and engaging the team to gain buy in, helping to ensure everyone is aligned to their role in making it happen!Following 15 years’ strategic leadership experience in organisations ranging from a £4m turnover, family-run import and distribution business to a £2bn corporation, across both highly regulated and competitive markets, I chose to leave my corporate career in 2013 & focus instead on delivering hands on support to small and medium sized business owners to help them achieve their aspirations and goals.Since then I have been privileged to be able to support more than 80 business owners across a full range of sectors, both profit and not for profit, at all stages of the business life cycle. From planning and financing start-up businesses… to supporting transition from owner-managed businesses to employing and building new teams to support growth… working with high growth businesses, expanding into new markets, developing new products and services including export and franchising operations… all the way through to helping business owners plan for succession, exit and sale of business.I was humbled to be recognised in 2014 & again in 2018 as one of Britain’s Top 50 business advisers by Enterprise Nation, in conjunction with the Department for Business, Innovation & Skills and the ICAEW.I am a qualified business and leadership coach & mentor and Fellow of the Institute of Leadership – reserved for experienced strategic leaders, with a desire to share knowledge, give back to the community and use skillset to inspire, challenge and support other leaders.I am driven by a strong ‘pay it forward’ ethos.
