Responsible for overseeing and managing the analytics program within the Athletic Department. Design and develop the framework necessary to implement such a program, and work in conjunction with Athletic Department leadership to align business needs and strategies with analytical tools, resources, and initiatives. • Lead analytics projects, including the development of various analytics dashboards. • Meet with customers to understand their analytics and business needs. Translate these needs into a finished product that aligns with the strategic objectives of the customer.• Responsible for creating, developing, documenting, sharing, and implementing analytics standards, practices, and workflows across the Athletic Department.• Assess gaps in data availability/quality and work with others in the Athletic Department to fill those gaps. • Work with multiple technologies, have the skill and expertise to identify the best technology for a given need, and remain current on emerging technologies that may be needed in the future. • Employ an analytical mindset, progressive mentality, as well as an ability to communicate effectively with “technical” and “non-technical” customers.

Responsible for the preparation and upkeep of financial reports for a Division I, “Power Five” athletics program with annual expenses exceeding $80 million. Additionally, support payment processing and accounting department functions.• Annually prepare the EADA, NCAA AUP, and ACC financial reports along with University Economic Impact reports and post-season reports/bids.• Designed a monthly dashboard for capital projects and restricted accounts that I distribute to university stakeholders and department administrators. • Created benchmarking tools utilizing Tableau data visualization software that dynamically update and analyze peer information for purposes of comparing Director’s Cup standings and revenue/expense trends across all NCAA reporting categories.• Create and distribute seasonal coaching salary benchmarking reports to sport administrators and leadership utilizing third-party reports and tools to deduce exact competitors. Similarly, I distribute a semi-annual athletics department staff benchmarking report that compares staff size and job title salary by department among ACC schools. • Distribute bi-weekly sport revenue reports that highlight game-by-game revenue across various revenue sources (tickets, merchandise, concessions, etc.) and compares trends across seasons. • Reconcile ticket office Paciolan reports with actual deposits across all ticketed sports.• Prepare monthly reconciliations of amusement taxes, ticket sales, and Nike equipment and apparel purchases to ensure accuracy and coordinate the payment of applicable invoices. • Support sport administrators with team travel contract generation and reconcile/process team travel payments for 18 athletic teams.• Maintain general ledger accuracy through accounting journal modifications at the direction of Associate AD of Business Services.• Process cash deposits and record revenue entries.

Role: Manage all aspects of game-day operations: ticket operations, set up for game day activities, facility security, in-contest assistance, officials and visitor liaisons, video operations, and sports medicine assistance. Events coordinated include basketball, soccer, volleyball, wrestling, softball, and lacrosse. • Led game operations staff of approximately 12 people for 45+ winter and spring sport events in NCAA Division III.

Role: Project Leader in the areas of guest recruitment, sponsorships, and logistical planning for two major events drawing 150+ attendees each. Academic administrator supporting faculty. Student club adviser and administrator. Achievements:• Attracted sport professionals such as the President of the Green Bay Packers, the Associate Commissioner of the Big Ten Conference, the Milwaukee Bucks President, and EVP of GMR Marketing to campus for events. • Increased event revenue and attendance in second year by nearly 100%.

Role: Supported the department’s business affairs: check/purchase requests, account reconciliation, financial reports, and database/software coordination, among other tasks. Assisted athletic director on complex projects. • Coordinated a $2.5 million budget for all teams and cost centers of the department. • Created the university’s first Student-Athlete Handbook and code of conduct.• Drafted a new athletic conference proposal including governance procedures, an analysis of affiliated sports, and data on prospective institutions for inclusion.
