Initiated further centralisation of the Purchasing function through the set-up of an European category team structure to better leverage our negotiation position. Achieved annual savings of > €20 million. Further enhanced the supply chain function by rolling out the SAP /APO template throughout the whole WAVIN Group. Achieved further optimisation of the devil's triangle (Service, Stock and Costs) while fulfilling demand. Reduced stock levels with >€40 mio, while improving service levels.

As Corporate Director OPEX (Supply Chain and Operational Excellence) responsible for further improving the supply chain, by implementing structural process improvements and supporting systems like SAP /APO. Initiated and leading the Wavin group-wide template development for SAP /APO. Next to processes and systems started the development of a new manufacturing footprint strategy together with Cambridge University. This footprint initiative was piloted and further rolled-out with great success in the following years. Managed to make the transition from a decentralised organisation towards a more centrally managed pan-European supply chain and operations organisation.

As Sales Director responsible for all sales of supply chain management solutions and consultancy to multinational clients like ABInbev, Johnson&Johnson (Cordis), Numico, Mitsubishi Motors Europe, Estee Lauder, Esselte, FuijFilm, Novartis and many others in the Benelux. The following two years I worked in the Delta Dailyfood plants in Montreal Canada, Wrexham UK and Dallas/Fort Worth US on improving production and planning processes.
