Management Responsibilities:Monitor all department processes and interfere when performance is not according to agreed PI's or procedures. Ensure the department is sufficiently staffed and equipped and a backup plan is available at all times. Regularly review staff according to internal procedures and policies (minimal once a year) and ensure all subordinates are aware of their performance objectives and Performance Indicators (PI’s). Ensure Quality & knowledge of staff in Customer Support team. Inspire, Motivate and Coach the team in order to achieve maximal employee satisfactionProduct Training:Develop commercial and technical training materials in line with the approved support strategy and selective distribution strategy. Ensure timely availability of required training materials. Define right training formats and balance online activities and hands on training activities. Maintain training tools and related questionnaires. Communicate training and technical product information regarding current and new products to all relevant internal and external parties. Provide training for all sales / service personnel for new introductions.Technical knowledge base:Ensure that all internal and sales personnel are up-to-date on product or technology related issues. Lead the development of the regional product category planning strategy and work collaboratively with the European Marketing team and D&M engineering to drive product road map.
