I ensured knowledge transfer from my engineers towards the engineers of the outsourced parties.Additionally the out tasked contract for storage management is changed to a managed service with an additional component: infrastructure monitoring. This resulted in expansion of the pro-active service window on infrastructure from 5x8 to 7x24.Tasks: resource management, appraisals, education, finance, embedding ITIL processes, management of support contracts for both hardware and software.
