I am well versed in property, casualty and pecuniary insurance, with over 20 years' of hands-on experience. I can facilitate progress in such areas as People Risk, Enterprise Resilience and ESG.

I spent 4 years assisting UK subsidiaries of overseas-owned businesses with their insurance portfolio and risk management initiatives. I acted as a gateway to the wider Marsh McLennan enterprise, facilitating Employee Benefit solutions, M&A consulting, Claims Defensibility and much more.

Handling reactive and generating proactive opportunities from all available sub-sectors by identifying, contacting and then fostering relationships with prospective clients. Arranging and attending introductory and discovery meetings, working closely with prospects to ensure their needs are fully understood. Identifying gaps in current insurance and risk management programmes, and working collaboratively with prospects to arrange the most positive solution. Negotiating with underwriters to secure the most favourable terms from the market and producing tenders / quote response documents. Following up with presentation meetings and subsequent negotiations to ensure mutually positive outcomes.

Taking daily control of all aspects of the business, both procedurally and customer-facing. Managing a small team of Account Handlers; taking responsibility for the top-end renewals and new business enquiries. Regularly liaising with insurer and wholesale partners, maintaining and nurturing those relationships to ensure the best possible outcomes for the business and its customers. I implemented numerous and wide-arching changes to the business, delivering improvements to systems, processes, compliance and resources.
