As President and Chief Executive Officer, he co-founded the direct sales marketing and manufacturing company BeautiControl. BeautiControl rapidly became an industry leader, went public, and became a Wall Street favorite. The company was named to Business Week's 100 Top Growth Companies three times, twice to Forbes' Top 20 Best Small Companies, and ranked 40th in OTC Review's Most Profitable NASDAQ Companies. BeautiControl developed and manufactured 600+ products marketed in the U.S., Mexico, Canada, Great Britain, Taiwan, Hong Kong and China.In 2000, BeautiControl merged with Tupperware Brands. Dick Heath remained as BeautiControl CEO, and became Group President for Tupperware Mexico, Central and South America. He led a turnaround in Mexico, and re-established business in Brazil.Dick Heath has been active in due diligence advisory and interim chief executive roles for equity investment firms. Most recently, he has served in both capacities with Barrier Advisors, and with Highland Capital Management as President and CEO of a major direct selling company. Heath has invested deeply in philanthropic service throughout his business career. He is passionate about serving on the boards of hospitals and not-for-profit organizations benefiting the impoverished across DFW and nationally, and those delivering services for the education, health, and safety of women, children and young adults.
