Richard began working in tax in 1997, becoming a Chartered Tax Adviser in 2000. He worked at Garbutt + Elliott for more than 24 years before it became part of the Azets group in late 2021.His role development during his Garbutt + Elliott years combined both personal and employment taxation, which enabled him to advise businesses, business owners and individuals/employees as needed.Richard heads up the Employer Solutions services for Azets in the Yorkshire and North West regions, helping businesses navigate increasingly complex Employment Taxes legislation, challenges in attracting and retaining key staff, and dealing with the shifting landscape of working habits and what is important to employees.
