Rich is a partner in HMB’s Litigation Group and concentrates his practice on all aspects of commercial litigation. He represents businesses and their owners, banks, lenders, real estate developers and other professionals in state and federal courts, arbitrations and mediations nationwide.As a commercial litigator, Rich regularly advises clients in connection with complex commercial matters and works across a wide range of industries. He frequently handles employment disputes regarding restrictive covenants, trade secret claims, tortious interference, unfair competition and the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act. He also frequently counsels on ownership disputes related to the management of closely-held companies and breach of contract or related claims arising from M&A transactions and other contractual relationships.Rich also regularly represents owners and developers of real estate and is frequently called on to solve complicated issues related to clients’ interests in real estate, including disputes over purchase and sale agreements, tenant issues and partnership/ownership disputes.Clients turn to Rich both before and when disputes arise.
