I was appointed to provide strategic digital transformation and production oversight support to the Volkswagen team, aligning with their shift towards a more responsive approach in addressing market dynamics.Central to my responsibilities was spearheading the collaboration between six Omnicom agencies spanning Media, Creative, Platform & CRM, with a focus on devising cohesive, end-to-end process frameworks and documentation for a more connected response to client briefs and creative output.I engaged with each agency individually and collectively, ensuring the incorporation of diverse perspectives while prioritising client objectives. This inclusive approach was aimed at fostering broader ownership and smoother adoption of the established processes moving forward.Additionally, I undertook the crucial task of identifying and mitigating risks stemming from knowledge silos, advocating for a more comprehensive Dynamic Creative Optimisation (DCO) strategy across digital channels.In addition to my strategic contributions, I was instrumental in fostering effective teamwork and collaboration among stakeholders. I navigated complex dynamics, political and agency priorities to improve collective productivity and synergy, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives.Or to put it simply - herding cats into rooms to get them to talk to each other and work better together.
