In 1974, Mr. Arthur M. Wood, former Sears Roebuck & Co Board Chairman, championed not only the development of the Sears Tower but also the establishment of the tower’s Metropolitan Club. Since that time, the West Loop has flourished, and The Metropolitan Club has become known as the place to conduct business and meet Chicago’s “who’s who,” and has developed a reputation as Chicago’s finest business club. SIM Chicago is a community of thought leaders in the Chicago area who share experiences and rich intellectual capital that is applied, and who explore future IT direction.

I have been retired for several years now helping people both in professional development/mentoring for their next career move or those in transition with virtual introductions to senior level contacts in companies sometimes as a free service. I also have continued to be on various boards and help associations sharing my experiences and professional network which I find very rewarding. One area I especially enjoy is helping startups and other companies from my professional network, sharing past business experiences, developing marketing plans, helping them financially, etc.
