Oversaw a $10 million federally funded community access grant that supported fatherhood services throughout Colorado and provided an opportunity to build capacity among the professionals working with dads each day. During the community access grant's five-year existence 63 programs were awarded contracts of up to $50,000 each to provide direct services to dads. Over 6,000 Colorado fathers received services which were required to include participation in a parenting class. • Provided oversight of a Statewide behavioral change campaign that generated over 12,000 added-value television spots worth over $598,000.00 of advertising and media relations efforts that added more than 28 million people to the reach of the campaign and included the development of an award winning website (2008 Gold Pick Award from the Colorado Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America).• Successfully developed collaborative relationships between healthy marriage programs, domestic violence programs, fatherhood programs, child welfare, child support enforcement, and the Department of Corrections. • Helped to establish the Colorado Men against Domestic Violence initiative.• Recipient of the 2010 Be There for your Kids Extraordinary Leader for Fatherhood in Colorado Award and the Colorado Department of Human Services 2008 Employee of the Year for Teamwork (joint recipient with the Director of the Colorado Domestic Violence Program)
