As CEO of this publicly-traded company (part owned by Fox/Newscorp), Gemstar-TV Guide International (later named Rovi), I led its turnaround in which it revitalized TV Guide Magazine and TV Guide Network while greatly expanding its patent licensing and reach across digital media platforms, including the significant growth of TV Guide Online. I directed the successful $2.3 billion sale of the company to Macrovision in May 2008.
