In August 2014 I joined Global Technology Partners as CEO. GTP is the leading prepaid processor for Africa. Worked with my teammates and partners in the US and Sub Saharan Africa to grow our business in the dynamic and rapidly developing African markets. The hard work paid off in June of 2022 when GTP was acquired by MFS Africa, the leading provider of mobile wallet payment solutions in Africa. Post acquisition I served as Executive Director for GTP focused on strategic partnerships and growth initiatives. In June 2023 I launched BialekGroup an advisory firm helping clients enter or expand their operations in Africa. Immediately prior to joining GTP I was Head of Prepaid Products for Visa CEMEA based in Dubai UAE, where I was responsible for Prepaid Market and Product Development. I recruited and developed a CEMEA leadership team that doubled payment volume and revenues annually during my tenure. Visa achieved market share leadership based on development and implementation of innovative market shaping travel, government, virtual card and youth programs in the CEMEA region. My experience in the payment industry includes senior-level positions managing credit card businesses at Neiman Marcus, GE Capital and Ameritech. I also managed Consumer Credit Products for Visa International prior to the formation of Visa Inc. and held the post of Senior Vice President in charge of Strategic Research and Intelligence for Visa International.I have a BA in Economics from Harvard College and was a Harvard College National Scholar and Boyden Scholar.
