Provided a common streamlined project management requirements framework for 12 product business units with an estimated $2.2M in annual cost savings projected over a 5-yr period. Systematically streamlined standard requirements resulting in dramatic cycle time reductions in many project management activities associated with operating the traditional framework.• Led all aspects of a 1-yr initiative to design, develop and deploy a common Feature Management & Costing system for Motorola. Produced all of the new system’s formal documentation and training material. Annual cost savings estimated at $2.5M projected over 5 years due to tool consolidation savings and significant front end planning cycle time reductions enabled by the new solution.• Recruited internally to contribute to a new group created for the express purposes of rejuvenating the Six Sigma effort at Motorola. Assisted Black Belts on several Digital Six Sigma projects before focusing exclusively as a Green Belt on a major project targeting the improvement of Motorola’s project management framework.

Created and managed a functional department entitled Process Optimization & Documentation (POD) for this small project accounting software firm.• Developed and successfully implemented a Rapid Organizational Improvement (ROI) program applying proven CMM and ISO principles and using innovative process management techniques. This achievement enabled the company to perform self-directed continuous process improvement in all of its departments.• Created and maintained the company’s formal pyramid of internal documentation used to communicate best practices, policies and procedures.• Revolutionized the company’s product user documentation using a Help authoring tool (RoboHelp). Converted 4 dozen out-dated and non-standard hard copy product user manuals into a comprehensive volume of electronic documents all integrated within a single file that conformed to rigid MS / IBM standards. This Help system produced great satisfaction for clients, business partners and employees, and put a new face on the product leading to a lucrative acquisition deal.
