- Developed multiple demo applications and videos using React, Next.js, and Node.js and various SDKs to explain specific product features improving developer understanding. These videos generated thousands of views on YouTube- Created a short-form technical video template for others to follow, which is currently being implemented in different organisations

- Led the development of an application allowing notaries to upload PDFs and get digitally signed by the UK Government using Sails.js, EJS, AWS and Mocha, which is now used to legalise over 25,000 PDFs a year.- Implemented key features for a Government system that provides services (Lawyers, translators, etc...) to British citizens abroad using TypeScript, Express.js, PostgreSQL, Prisma and Jest. The system is used regularly by over 130 embassies worldwide.- Improved a legacy SSR React application for British citizens to obtain emergency travel documents by greatly refactoring the code and working with user researchers to streamline the user flow. This led to a reduction in citizens contacting the government.

- Led the development of a company-wide React-based component system on Github Packages and developed with Storybook, and documented. This unified the company's design and sped up the build of three greenfield projects during my time at Octopus.- Led the frontend development of a customer-facing portal to manage investments and download historical documents using React, Redux, SCSS, Enzyme, and Jest. This had plenty of unit tests and was launched to all of Octopus’ 63,000 customers.- Organised workshops to teach code to non-technical product managers, participated in hiring interviews, arranged hackathons, and conferences (React Advanced London, Coldfront Copenhagen) for other front-end developers to form a stronger team bond.

- Led the upgrade of the front-facing flight booking website from AngularJS to Angular 2 with a team of contractors using Redux and lazy loading techniques to improve site performance. This led to a fast, secure site that customers understood better.- Designed and developed a custom WordPress theme for the company blog showcasing the CEO’s world travel using PostgreSQL, Heroku- Owned the design and UI development for an application to manage private jets and the front facing flight booking website using Photoshop, HTML, CSS and jQuery
