Yammayap was founded by myself and James Caddy, We collaborated for 2 years working together on numerous website and design projects in a freelance capacity. The Tender Space software is a custom written, cloud based, application that connects clients, contractors, professional and suppliers via its unique “ToolBox” function. The software integrates with a number of third party services such as Stripe, GoCardless, Due Dil, CreditSafe and Companies House to get data to either speed up processes or produce documents.My role is to oversee the development of the marketing and SaaS websites, from design through to implementation and the ongoing support to the sales and marketing teams. We have also designed and developed all the branding elements and marketing collateral used.I am responsible for all things technical relating to the ongoing evolution of The Tender Space. I provide vital, day to day support to all staff in the management, sales, marketing, creative and technical teams.

Vehicle Strategies offers a number of products and services to SME and corporate clients.The VS software is a custom written, cloud based, application that allows clients to manage their fleet of vehicles and drivers online. The software also provides corporate clients, fleet operators, insurance brokers and any other organisation who manages large number of customers/vehicles the ability to assist in the management using a unique dual-facing system. The software is available as part of a VS service or as a white labelled product. This product can be licensed or purchased outright.My role is to oversee the development of the group websites, from design through to implementation and the ongoing support to the sales and marketing teams. We also design and develop all the branding of all the elements that make up the Vehicle Strategies group.I am responsible for all things technical relating to the ongoing evolution of the Vehicle Strategies group. I provide vital, day to day support to all staff in the management, sales, marketing, franchising, creative and technical teams.

My interest in building web sites led to the desire of running my own business. Quickly establishing a number of private clients whose requirements ranged from basic website updates and maintenance to complex enhancements to database driven web applications.My programming knowledge, ability to appreciate good design, and willingness to know my creative design skills were not suitable in a commercial environment led me to form a partnership with an excellent graphic designer who shared similar beliefs and ideals. To this day, I maintain programmers can not design and designers can not program, a philosophy I continue to take forward into Yammayap.

E-Mango had created a suite of content management system modules which were deployed across a number of SME web sites, they also took over the maintenance of existing customers websites hosted on Filemaker installations.Moving back into a more development role, I supported all Macintosh based servers, maintained and enhanced websites created and hosted using the Filemaker/Lasso environment. E-Mango web sites were built using MSSQL and Cold Fusion, these technologies were learnt and further enhancements were made to existing sites.It was here that a much greater knowledge of HTML and CSS was established, coupled with other technologies such as RSS feeds, XML and SQL gave the ability to solve complex web problems.- Website development.- Cold Fusion, MSSQL, XHTML, CSS- Internal CRM and business tools developed using FileMaker

Logic Internet was setup alongside Logic Computers, the Bournemouth based Apple Computer reseller, it's goal was to provide web solutions and hosting services for small local businesses and private clients. This role saw my first steps into the world of the internet and creation of web sites. We were developing and supporting static websites and content managed sites created using Filemaker and Lasso technologies running on the Apple Macintosh platform.This is where my solid understanding of HTML was gained.Having separated from Logic Computers, Datacenta Group Limited transitioned from a 'web development' company into a web hosting service provider. The organisation expanded it's internet service offering and primarily offered colocation and managed server hosting services. This role introduced more infrastructure skills where knowledge of web servers, routing, networking and customer support were fundamental requirements. This business was then bought and merged with another Bournemouth based internet software and web services company.- Building and Supporting websites built using Filemaker Pro/Lasso.- HTML and CSS- Supporting hosting infrastructure

4-Sight were industry leaders and innovators in the ISDN and Fax world. Their products were developed and managed in house by a growing team of software developers, testers, localisation and support engineers. All 4-Sight software was initially Apple Macintosh based but Windows versions were introduced in later years. My role started as a 'C' programmer working on the network Fax server/client product but I also became responsible for the beta, golden master and final candidate software release processes including building installers and preparing disks for production. A good eye for detail was essential.I liaised with localisation engineers to assist with the support and launch of products into France, Germany and Japan.Also responsible for setting up and managing a team of developers tasked with the maintenance and support of all software products.- Principal Software Engineer.- Product Manager for 4-Sight Fax.- Software Maintenace Manager

I started my software development career working for Talbot Publishing Systems, a Bournemouth based company who created page make up software, similar to Quark, aimed at the publishing industry. Their range of software products were all developed for Apple Macintosh computers. This role involved using 'C' as the primary programming language.
