Digishare was born from a partnership between two companies who were passionate about great product content. UK-based EtailDetail and Europe-based Techmarq were founded in 2009 by industry veterans, both with decades of experience among international brands and retail giants, such as Philips, Unilever, General Electric and Amazon. Their collective expertise allowed them to identify two universal issues in online retail:Great product content is a crucial driver of conversion. Distributing good content consistently across retail partners is incredibly difficult.This shared understanding and drive brought the two companies together, with the goal of improving the quality of product content within online retail and simplifying the delivery process for the brand. The partnership blossomed, enabling them to jointly create the first content system that allows brands to plan, build and publish to Amazon and all other retailers.The success of this platform convinced both companies that their futures lay together in a joint, single entity – Digishare.
