Through cross-cultural team building, these projects focused on profitable revenue growth, cost reductions, organizational restructuring, product and technology development and customer-focused selling and business development processes.As part of the team engaged in establishing TimkenSteel as an independent and publicly traded company (spun off from The Timken Company), I was also responsible for leading the establishment of the technology development infrastructure in the new organization and for incorporating strategic market and technology roadmapping activities to support the creation of shareholder value.Additionally, I developed an innovative risk management model and corporate governance structure for the protection of valuable intellectual property, worked with multi-site manufacturing operations to apply Lean Manufacturing methods and engaged with sales and engineering teams in new business development activities. The program, based on Design for Six Sigma and stage gate methods was accomplished through collaborative leadership and cross-cultural team building subsequently provided a strong contribution to revenue growth with a significant net-present value in the development pipeline.Additionally, I worked with scientists, engineers, customers and joint-venture partners to apply the development model and to ensure customer-centric and strategically aligned capital and human investments.
