I have over 34 years of experience in the healthcare industry. During this time, I have specialized in many areas to include Operations, Risk Management, Information Technology, Electronic Medical Records, Contracting, Corporate Legal, Medical Billing and Coding, and consulting engagements structured to enhance current medical practice operations through practice assessments, operational improvements and developing and implementing strategic plans. I began my career in the healthcare revenue cycle management arena. My operational background is enriched by extensive experience and strong knowledge base of medical practice financial statements.As a member of the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC), I earned my Professional Coder (CPC) certification in 2001.
