Responsible for all aspects of a start-up graphic arts department, including developing procedures, organizing a work flow, and preparing and maintaining budgets. Also responsible for creating complete product lines to be sold into the mass market utilizing acquired licenses. This process included concepts, mock-ups, samples, point of purchase displays and Plan-o-gram samples, as well as in-house meetings with clients to discuss projects. Responsible for all aspects of a growing graphic arts department, including hiring and managing personnel, purchasing and maintaining Macintosh equipment and software, developing and implementing procedures and paperwork to help maintain an organized flow of work, creating technical manuals of tin specifications and layouts. Managed the creation of new designs, point of purchase displays, packaging as well as the designs supplied by customers through the design, separation and printing process...including press ok’s and maintaining tight schedules. Working with separation and printing vendors for quoting and purchasing services to achieve top quality tins. Responsible for preparing and maintaining budgets for department. Coordinating and creating marketing materials such as brochures, sell sheets, catalogs, web page, and other Olive Can documents (which included the creation of mock-ups for photo shoots and attending photo shoots).

Responsible for production of $5 million in print projects, complete print production responsibility for in-house client, consultation with clients and sales department regarding preparation of print projects, coordination and scheduling of projects for pre-press, press and bindery, following up with plant personnel in order to meet customer deadlines, and determining production costs and processing proper invoices for print projects. Other duties included obtaining quotes and schedules from outside vendors for ancillary services that First Impression did not provide in-house and ordering paper, ink and necessary supplies to complete print projects

Responsibilities included heavy one-on-one customer relations, consultation with clients and preparation of print documents, coordination and scheduling documents for press and bindery, organizing and preparing documents to file with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Other duties included, preparing jobs for billing, computer archiving, retrieval of print documents, and preparing distributions for shipping printed materials.
