In March 2022 whilst engrossed in ‘stuff’ I became fed up of watching nightly news from Kyiv and decided to drive over in my Landy90 with a group of (on-line) volunteers who I met on the ferry; weeks later I bumped into a good Chum who had been out in Ukraine a while and from a hasty espresso cathcup Frontier Operations was born! Before then…….As this is not a CV or an interview, I can be candid and inform you that I am an annoyingly highly focused, driven, and experienced professional who places acute emphasis on attention to detail in all strategic planning matters! I spent 30 years in the UK investment management industry, working with families, entrepreneurs, and private clients helping to hone business, investment, and management strategies into beneficial outcomes.Having worked in this advisory capacity, I have developed a considerable skill set in supporting individuals, entrepreneurs, and business owners articulate concepts to action. In 2020, semi-retirement became sabbatical, which became part-time, quickly dispersing to full time Consulting! Though I have decidedly stepped away from the retail-direct investment sector working exclusively with a few brilliant ‘family offices’. This means the consulting emphasis of my work focuses advising key stakeholders how to communicate their values and objectives, and identify risks associated with their projects. Experience in complicated investment and tax deliberations involved with corporate generation (the passing on of a corporation from one generation to the next) is an area in which I am particularly familiar with. Extensively travelled within Europe, Saudi Arabia and Hong Kong, I have a firm grasp of the chaperoning deliberations within cultural boundaries. In the UK - One Cap Consulting - is focused on harnessing this experience and providing strategic planning, management, and oversight for entrepreneurs, private families, and charity trustees, looking to make intelligent decisions regarding their asset management, and family governance.Away from the screen I have continued to play rugby throughout my career. For the past 24 years I have been both a player and a committee member at Barnes RFC, a National 2 club in south-west London.
