About Rich Field
A naturally creative, technically-expert designer.I’ve been creative since childhood and begun freelancing as a graphic designer whilst still in college, art-working simple logos and brochures, as well as building websites for various clients (in the days when you had to build a website from scratch!). Head-hunted by Saville Assessment in 2008, I quickly became their Head of Creative, re-branding the company and helping it grow internationally from 15 to 200 people over 7 years — eventually being sold for some £45m to Willis Towers Watson.I returned to freelancing in 2015, working for spells at various agencies whilst selling my digital artwork to customers all over the world under the name ‘Fieldinspired’. To date I’ve sold around 1500 signed giclée prints (under the artist name ‘Fieldinspired’) to customers from Hawaii to Bangkok. As well as being interviewed by Digital Arts Magazine, my work has featured in Creative Boom, Creative GAGA (India), Design Week and Creative Review.In 2017 Professor Peter Saville asked me to help him build a new company and I joined 10x Psychology as their first employee. Since then I’ve shaped UX and designed the UI for a complex, multi-solution, HR Tech app (as well as creating/ managing the brand). My focus has shifted from graphic design to experience design. Working with a large team of developers (front and back-end) I design functional, user-friendly and intuitive products. On the practical (UI) side, I use a variety of apps to translate requirements into interaction flows, static screens and prototypes - ultimately transforming them into intuitive interfaces.I’m deeply passionate about design and enjoy leading and enthusing teams to create amazing collaborative work.
