Balibó House Trust works to honour the memory of the Balibó Five by improving the lives and livelihoods of the Balibó people. Balibó House, known to many as the Australian Flag House was the last refuge of five Australian-based journalists, Greg Shackleton, Gary Cunningham, Tony Stewart, Malcolm Rennie and Brian Peters, who were murdered by invading Indonesian troops in 1975.
