Led the successful launch of this division within Neville Lumber Company. Responsibilities included business development, P&L and working with suppliers to design, manufacture and deliver customized materials handling solutions utilizing molded plastics. Applications included customized products for the medical, pharmaceutical and food processing industries as well as general manufacturing.

Delivered key growth for the company by developing business relationships with new clients in our core industrial lumber business. Also led the start-up and growth of plastics division (See Buffalo Plastic Pallet Corp.) within the company after recognizing client requirements that needed to be achieved with materials other the lumber. Sales were doubled during my time with the company. Also served as operations manager for our milling operations during an 8 month period and introduced a number of initiatives which achieved improved productivity, decreased lead-times and enhanced employee safety and morale.

Western New York

Responsible for retail grocery store operations including P&L, hiring and supervision of up to 200 employees and product mix/selection. Led many special projects including new store set-up and restructuring of existing stores. Also served as corporate liason to assist franchise store owners who were new the company or who were experiencing difficulties with operations or profitability.
