Developed and maintained product test stations using National Instruments data acquisition and LabVIEW development platform. Created support libraries in C#. Provided database administration and support for the company's MS SQL server database.

I designed an embedded PCB to monitor the individual cells of a hydrogen fuel battery.

• Designed and built a cRIO based distributed test system for operational testing and profiling of wind turbine engineering prototype.• Wrote LabVIEW software for collecting and processing the data collected by the cRIO system.• Setup and administered Linux server with FTP server, SMTP server, SAMBA and other services at remote test location. Data collected was transferred to server via FTP from the cRIO system, notifications sent out via e-mail, and data shared with other employees from the server.• The instruments monitored and maintained included anemometer, generated power, wind direction, tower load, temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, etc.

Worked on two projects in my time here:1. Artificial Heart Driver (type III medical device)a. Produced and verified design for printed circuit boards to provide essential control functions for device.b. Produced, verified and validated test fixtures for the printed circuit board components.c. Produced quality assurance and inspection procedures for components of the device and performed inspections per procedure.d. Produce VHDL control code for FPGA on printed circuit board that provided vital controls and CPU backup in system.e. Built and programmed LabVIEW based test fixture for verification and validation of complete system for FDA submission.2. Implantable Pain Pump (type II medical device)a. Reviewed system designs and nonconformance reports to make improvements to the system design.b. Performed inspections on component per inspection procedures.

• Worked as electrical design engineer on development of inline fuel quality monitor from phase I to phase III. o Design custom printed circuit boards to provide laser, photo sensors and digital signal processing to monitor quality of fuel flowing through a pipe. o Design analog filtering and signal conditioning circuitry to ensure high signal to noise ratio for accurate detection of particulate. o Performed component selection and stocking for production of prototypes and demonstration units. o Hand built printed circuit boards by selecting and soldering components for prototype and demonstration units.• Assisted in Neural Network testing o Design computer programmable and configurable neural network printed circuit board using cross point array chips. o Designed data capture system to monitor neural network state on up to 48 nodes simultaneously.• Provided miscellaneous electrical engineering support for multiple projects at the company.
