Energetic leader with 2 years as an Operations Manager, three years of experience in heavy industrial and 10 years of management experience in law enforcement. Dedicated to leading teams with safety and quality at the forefront while using communication and data analytics to improve process flow. At Target I successfully manage a team of over 100 team members. I ensure they are ramped up in their training, while safety is our No. 1 goal, quality and then production. This is completed by conducting targeted Safety audits at a minimum of 15 times a shift, a minimum of 6 targeted quality audits a shift, standard work audits as needed (minimum of 2) to ensure the right process is being used and checking productivity in real time throughout the day for every team member. Within 6 months we were No. 1 in almost all measurable metrics in the network (nation wide distribution network for Target), and top 5 in the few we were not No. 1. While working with Georgia Pacific and Pinova I used Forklifts, Skid steers and Backhoes as a regular part of my job. These companies also saw I was proficient at problem solving, training and researching best practices. They assigned me to revamp their training in the areas I worked to include researching, developing and implementing new training guides and programs. While in Law Enforcement I excelled at every Job I was assigned. I was handpicked to become a federally and State of Georgia Instructor. I was assigned the job to research best practices and laws of new specialized Units, to include K9, SWAT and Marine. I attended 100’s of hours of training at the local, state and federal level, to become proficient as a K9 handler, SWAT member and Marine Unit member. I then attended train the trainer classes for each unit to become the Instructor and commander of each unit. From there I began researching best practices and laws and used the knowledge I gained in training to implement policies and training for each unit. I successfully implemented policies and trained new team members for each of these units. As part of the researching and implementation of these units, I decided what vehicles, boats and equipment was needed. I researched distributors, allocated funds and ordered what was needed that fit our business needs. I organized and inventoried these items and put them into service within these units. I am great at resource management. I excel at recognizing where and what resources are available and how to best use them.
