I assisted in driving home the main educational points presented by the professor through demonstrations and explanations. Patrolled several zones within the West Side of Athens, GA.

Managed the special order desk of the Athens Home Depot by helping to train and supervise six employees on the computer information systems within the Home Depot store 0129. Functioned as a head cashier within the store, cross training cashiers in both the point of sale menus and special order menus. Helping customers throughout the store in every department. Maintained the audit log of all special orders placed throughout the store in order to ensure that inventory was never missing or stored incorrectly.Maintained the log of all truck rental sales and maintained both vehicles including regular maintenance.Improved the work flow of the Service Desk by arranging the front end of the store in both a customer friendly environment as well as providing the front end employees with the ability to take and manage sales orders via the telephone.

Owned and operated a home improvement business specializing in bathroom and floor remodel. Completed approximately 10 floors and 4 full bathroom remodels.Installed tile walls and floors, wood floors, laminate flooring, custom shower pans, standard tubs and shower pans, Jacuzzi tubs, outdoor spas and electrical remodeling to include outlet/panel box installation and relocation. Completed some small landscaping jobs. Operated with a steady crew of two employees with additional labor hired when needed for the particular job.

Supervised a team of five men over the age of 45. Trained two members of the team to be certified small tool repair technicians. Increased the total profit margin for the department by 110%, taking a department which was operating at a loss throughout the store to a department which lead the store in profit margin.Recovered over $10,000.00 in stolen tools by tracking the owners of the credit cards down and charging them accordingly. Maintained a very low "out of service" rate on tools which were in stock. Operated at an average profit margin of 55% of total revenue.I also scheduled team member work hours; conducted written performance evaluations based on a standard, company wide scale for team members; renewed and revamped the store's "Do It Yourself Workshops" using the tutorials as both a time to sell tool rentals but also as a time to sells tools and products available throughout the store 6150 and personally conducted several of them. Volunteered on several "Team Home Depot" renovation projects to include the total renovation of a school in the South Shore of Staten Island.
