During my time there I had a variety of responsibilities including working on the bar, running food and waitering tables in the restaurant. In what could be a very busy and pressured environment it was important to be able to remain calm and use my initiative to solve problems. However the most valuable thing I gained from this experience was people skills, as it was extremely important to build rapport with customers, especially the regulars who at times could be quite challenging.
