I am retired and no longer looking for work.I have worked in various occupations that include office and technical job experience, including 15 years as senior partner / general manager in a small (4 – 8 employees) family business, performing multiple job functions. I have a Chemical Engineering degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. I have experience as an employer/manager and as an employee in purchasing, customer service, and machine operation and maintenance. I have an excellent understanding of the relationships between office and shop floor functions and between employee and employer. I also have clean room / dry room experience from my most recent position at Covidien Surgical Solutions. Most functions were performed in a clean room / 2% humidity dry room environment. Covidien PLC was bought out by Medtronic, and I was laid off due to a reduction in force.
