Provide leadership for the vision, planning, development, implementation, and support of Data Technology teams. Contribute to M Health Fairview’s success in providing business value as we transform to being data-driven and digitally-enabled as an organization. Work to improve interoperability with internal IT stakeholders (architecture, applications, analytics, technical operations), business partners (operations, clinical or shared services), and external partners (vendors, academic and others). Oversee and improve the use of various technology stacks (ETL, API, HL7, FHIR, ESB, MDM, Data Warehouse, Lakes, Marts, Cubes, etc) in support of M Health Fairview’s digital transformation. Work to integrate various data platforms (Cogito, PowerBI, BO, etc) in support of modern data delivery, including AI/ML modelling and training. Improve operational efficiencies, communication and documentation, in support of resource scalability through Strategic Sourcing.

Responsible for managing the support and development of the Cogito ODS/OLAP platform, providing insights and analytics from the Epic EMR. Manage and transform the enterprise ETL effort in furtherance of data availability as well as good stewardship of enterprise resources. Establish a mature development and deployment lifecycle, assuring standards are met in furtherance of scalability and stability. Oversee the design and development of a Modern Data Warehouse in support of a Learning Health System and integrated operational and financialanalytics. Interface and coordinate with executive, clinical, infrastructure, and analytics leadership in the identification and delivery of critical data-driven initiatives. Drive modernization of data management; coordinating with architectural, analytical, and data technology leaders in migration to cloud hosted data and tools.

Responsible for managing IT application support, application architecture, and for developing and implementing an enterprise data strategy that aligns enterprise information assets with business and technology strategy. Manages and oversees the design, development, selection and support of systems used for managing data such as data warehouses, data stores, and other data delivery systems and business application systems. This includes the overall design, build, implementation and maintenance of the enterprise wide data/information architecture, balancing the need for access against security and performance requirements.

Design, develop, deploy and support Informatica ETLs, a multi-dimensional data warehouse, and an OBIEE RPD/Enterprise Manager/Weblogic with subject areas for financials, accounts receivables, human resources, clinical operations, surgical operations and costing, and clinical analytics, as well as provider credentialing and CFTE.Worked closely, without BA or PM support, with finance directors, clinical quality managers, clinicians, and other University staff.Developed and supported external data feeds to vendors as well as supporting internal relational databases and applications.
