⇒Process all purchase requisitions for Engineering stores’ items of stock,maintenance and production management’s requests for purchase of their projects items and services.⇒Assist Engineering department on special projects focused on cost awareness campaign initiatives and process improvement.⇒Contact suppliers to resolve missed deliveries,back orders and price discrepancies.⇒ Assigned to conduct daily cycle counts on critical spares and compile reports on inventory status.⇒Proactively assessing maintenance stores’ inventory and ordering sufficient items of stock to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing services.⇒Assigned to coordinate engineering stores’functions to ensure that standard procedures are adhered to such as goods received are placed in their correct locations,issues of stock items are correctly processed on time in the inventory control system(SAP) and processed invoices and delivery notes are submitted to relevant departments.⇒Worked with accounting personnel in resolving invoice discrepancies.

My job responsibilities included the performing of pre-operational checks and quality assurance.
