I was appointed by Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson to fill an unexpired term on the Conway County Quorum Court. My term ended December 31, 2020, and I was ineligible to run for re-election as a gubernatorial appointee.

Cluster of Radio Stations in Russellville and Morrilton, AR: KCJC, KWKK, KVLD, KCAB, KVOM-AM, KVOM-FM. I was GM at KVOM when Max assumed ownership in '03; administrative functions were consolidated with our Russellville stations, and I became Director of Sales for the six-station cluster as part of that consolidation. I assumed GM duties for the consolidated cluster in November of 2006.

I was named President/General Manager of KVOM, Inc. in 2000. I had increased my ownership percentage of the two-station group to 12.5%. My account executive duties continued and I performed administrative duties.

I worked as an Account Executive and news director with the company, which was founded in 1995 after two fellow employees and I each purchased 10% of KVOM AM/FM from Morrilton Broadcasting Company (a principal held the other 70%). Prior to the sale of the stations, I was the News and Sports Director for the original owners, Morrilton Broadcasting Company (1993-1995).
