The Greater Lawrence Opioid Alliance is a cross-sectoral group of community leaders (representing healthcare, education, private business, social services and public safety) working in collaboration to decrease the negative effect the opioid crisis has on the health and safety of Greater Lawrence region. Nationally, Rich served on the Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers Governmental Affairs Committee and as the Chair of the National Association of Community Health Centers' Advocacy Task Force. He was also a member of the Health Policy Committee and served as the co-chair of NACHC's Healthcare for the Homeless Committee. GLFHC was proud to be recognized as both an Advocacy Center of Excellence and an Hispanic Advocacy Center of Excellence by the National Association of Community Health Centers in 2017 - and was often seen as one of the industry leaders throughout the Community Health Center movement both nationwide and in Canada.
