We have performed actuarial analyses for over 450 CCRCs and At Home Programs, and we possess one of the largest databases of CCRC residents with over 800,000 life years of residential and health care data. Our Actuaries are credentialed by the Society of Actuaries, the Conference of Consulting Actuaries, and the American Academy of Actuaries. We currently have two actuaries on the Actuarial Standards Board committee regarding ASOP 3, which addresses CCRC and At-Home Actuarial issues. We have four (4) credentialed actuaries on staff. CCA has extensive experience providing actuarial services to federal and state governments. We are the appointed actuaries for the State of West Virginia Public Employees' self-funded plan and the West Virginia CHIP program. Additionally, we provided the actuarial and economic analyses when the State of West Virginia developed its health care exchange and CCA audits the DoD retiree healthcare liability.CCA can meet and advise your senior management team while complementing any outside consulting expertise you are currently receiving. CCA has extensive experience with self-funded health plans, stop-loss insurance coverage, claim liability reserves, audit and compliance including GAAP and STAT financial reporting, development of appropriate assumptions for valuing current and future liabilities, assessment of utilization and unit cost trends, valuations of capitation agreements and contracts, as well as new product development.CCA has also built and maintained Long-Term Care Insurance proprietary models, and we have extensive expertise in calculating ALRs, DLRS, and performing GPVs sensitivity scenarios.
