My passion is early stage startups with disruptive emerging technology. I am Chief Technology Officer at Waverley Software. Previously spent 5 years at Jibo, a social robotics in Boston. As the 7th employee I built out the server/cloud organization and moved into leaderships roles such as Head of Security & Privacy.I spent 6 years at software giant Symantec Corp where I invented LiveUpdate in the mid-1990s and greatly simplifying the user experience upgrading software and leading to several patents.I was a chief software architect at Affectiva where I built the first two generations of their Affdex web affective computing platform. I was CTO and SVP of RadioCentral one of the most exciting startups in the early Internet radio space. We produced innovative music programming for major web sites such as Lycos, Earthlink, About.com and others. From the breakthroughs in development tools in my early years, to major contributions to award winning software at Symantec, to the thrilling startups of the last decade, I keep delivering quality software on aggressive schedules with limited resources. Whether a job requires me to lead and build a team or by architecting and building software, I am tenacious and will get the job done. I've worked with co-founders and VCs to raise funds.
