Having set aside my Real Estate license in 2008, I am now concentrating my time on things that are truly important to me: my family and my community. I am now a Firstday School Teacher (a.k.a. "Sunday School", and a Kitchen Associate at Pendle Hill, a Quaker Retreat and Conference Center in Wallingford, PA.I am a trained Godly Play and Faith & Play Storyteller, and have been enjoying presenting stories to the young children at Swarthmore Monthly Meeting. I am also working on expanding the teen program at SMM.I have served on the Chilldrens Sessions Planning Committee for Philadelphia Yearly Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends, as well as on the First Day School Committee at SMM. I have been a Cubmaster, Assistant Scoutmaster and Crew Advisor with the Boy Scouts of America.I also do appearances at events and parties as Santa Claus. My volunteer work is what is important to me. To bring in money so I can have time for that, I have done rideshare driving for Uber and Lyft, and delivery driving booked through Roadie and uShip. The pandemic changed that for me, and now my income comes from my work at Swarthmore Friends Meeting, Pendle Hill, some private consulting work, and seasonal appearances as Santa Claus (my personal favorite!)
